My name is Erika Etchison and I grew up around the pool deck. There is a lot of history of swimming in my family. My dad was a swim coach, my parents met on the pool deck during summer lifeguarding jobs, and my brother and sister both received scholarships for swimming in college. I was more of a land sport person but used swimming as conditioning for all of those. I started coaching swimming when I was 18 years old for the Paradise Piranhas. I have six years of experience coaching swimming. My daughters have been on swim team for the last three years and absolutely love it. I am excited to get back on the pool deck and have this opportunity to return to the Piranhas swim team, as a coach. I am looking forward to a great year.
Hope Bolin- has also been a long time member of the Paradise Piranhas. She is a board member and her passion is making sure that the Piranha swim team continues to be a positive place for kids to fall in the love with the sport of swimming.
